
MATTEO RAIMONDO
Matteo is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the wealth management industry. Previously, he held leadership positions at leading institutions in Switzerland, the Channel Islands, and The Bahamas.
He holds a Federal Banking Diploma and has completed various programs focused on international trust management or company law through the STEP designation.
Currently, he serves as Head of Business Development at Britannia Bank & Trust Limited in Nassau, The Bahamas. His fluency in Italian and English, coupled with his professional French proficiency, enables him to effectively serve a diverse clientele.
TANYA HANNA
Tanya is a partner at GrahamThomson Attorneys, one of the leading law firms in The Bahamas. She specializes in trusts and estate planning for offshore and domestic clients, as well as in corporate and banking law.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws with honours from the University of the West Indies and a Certificate of Legal Education from the Norman Manley Law School in Jamaica. She was called to the Bahamas Bar in 1993 and joined GrahamThompson Attorneys as an associate in 1996.
She has served as a member of the Board of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, Bahamas branch, for nine years, where she also held the leadership positions of Deputy Chairperson and Chairperson over a four-year period. She is regularly recognized by international lawyer-rating organizations as a leading attorney.
JOE BYRNE
Joe is the Head of Operations for the Investment manager Britannia Bank & Trust Ltd. He has held CEO & COO positions with Bahamas based investment Managers. He holds extensive experience in the construction of offshore funds and investment vehicles, including funds seeded by Julian Robertson and Sir John Templeton.
Joe has successfully advised on the restructure of private equity assets and negotiated payments for secured international collateral agreements. He was also appointed by the international shareholders of a Sao Paulo-based fund sponsored by Petrobras to oversee the investment manager and administrator. Through negotiations with senior Petrobras executives and officers he implemented an amortization plan for the redemption of senior and subordinate investments.
Joe served as a director of accounting at IFS (State Street) where he was responsible for NAV calculations for funds with an aggregate AUM of more than US$8 billion. Previously, he was an analyst with Microsoft in Dublin, Ireland, and was a member of their audit steering committee.
Joe holds a Bachelor of Business in Accountancy. He is a Chartered Management Accountant, Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants, Chartered Global Management Accountant, and holds the Series 7 qualification.
